The steeper 27° angle encourages a faster yet stable flow of water, helping it pass cleanly through the coffee bed without clogging. At the same time, the deeper bed geometry ensures water still makes full, even contact with the grounds during drawdown, supporting proper extraction even with doses as small as 8 grams of coffee.

A narrower top surface naturally guides a centered pour, making it easy to brew without overthinking complex pouring patterns. Inside, CAFEC’s rib structure maintains airflow throughout the brew, keeping the flow steady from start to finish.
