CGLE Geisha Processing Trio – Tasting Event

Earlier this year, we were invited to host a private coffee tasting experience at a mountain estate in Taiwan, surrounded by a small grove of coffee trees planted by the owner as a coffee hobbyist.

For the event, we featured an exclusive side-by-side tasting from Cafe Granja La Esperanza (CGLE), showcasing the same Las Margaritas Geisha presented through three different processing methods: washed, honey, and natural. It was a fun and eye-opening experience for guests to taste firsthand how dramatically processing methods can influence flavor, texture, sweetness, and aroma.

We thoroughly enjoyed the three very different but all beautiful expressions of this top-shelf Geisha, and we’re excited to share this same set through a tasting experience in our studio on Thursday, May 28th.

We’ve roasted each of these coffees to highlight their respective processing methods. During the tasting session, we'll walk through each of the processes, how we brew them, and what we taste. This event also offers a chance to experience the level of focus and detail our baristas dive into as they prepare for upcoming coffee competitions.

Each guest will receive three half-portion pour-overs, accompanied by a small snack to complement the tasting experience.

Participating guests will receive first opportunity to purchase the beans in a gift box, as we launch this CGLE Geisha Processing Trio gift set following the tasting.
