We first crossed paths with Cloud Picker in Geneva at the World of Coffee, and right from that moment, their genuine passion shone through. Their staff personally introduced each bean with care, sharing not only tasting notes but the stories of the people who grew it. It was clear: every coffee in their lineup carries a relationship and a responsibility.

Founded in 2013 in Dublin, Cloud Picker has built its reputation on seeking out and celebrating small producers – those who might otherwise be overlooked, but who grow coffees of remarkable character. Their name itself was inspired by a journey of Northern Thailand, where the founders hiked up into the clouds to meet the coffee pickers face-to-face. That spirit of venturing off the beaten path still guides them today, as they personally travel to new coffee areas in search of producers who are pushing quality ever higher, sometimes quite literally uncovering coffees from the most remote corners of the planet.

What sets Cloud Picker apart is not just their sourcing but their values: long-term partnerships with growers, fairness for pickers, and a deep commitment to sustainability. From reducing packaging-related emissions and composting coffee chaff into fertilizer, to delivering locally with an electric van and encouraging reusable containers, they’re as intentional about their impact as they are about their roast profiles.
