You may have noticed something new on our coffee shelf – alongside the diverse lineup from our roaster partners around the world, we’ve begun offering our own single origin beans, roasted in house by Rikka Fika. It’s been quite a journey to get here. Behind the scenes, we’ve been quietly refining our setup and honing our craft, building relationships with producers and green coffee partners, and finding shaping what makes a roasted coffee distinctly Rikka Fika. Our in-house releases will focus primarily on smaller-lot, clean, traditionally processed, terroir-driven coffees, with the occasional showcase of producer ingenuity through thoughtful experimental processing. Roast profiles lean light to highlight each coffee’s innate sweetness and fruity or floral character, while remaining well-developed, to be easy to brew and approachable for all.
