Nonstop Coffee
Kanazawa, Japan
Although Kanazawa is often lovingly dubbed the “Little Kyoto”, our visit showed us it’s so much more than that. Rich with history, Kanazawa is abundant with traditional attractions such as Kanazawa Castle premise, the traditional Japanese garden Kenroku-en, and the picturesque tea house streets.
Also blessed with a great variety of seafood and produce, Kanazawa has had a long-standing unique culinary culture, giving birth to amazing local chefs making traditional cuisines, as well as foreign chefs attracted to Kanazawa and adding their own flair. In such a city with a keen palate, the specialty coffee scene is also starting to take shape, jolted into motion by skillful indie roasters such as Nonstop Coffee.
Having established his coffee career in specialty coffee mecca Melbourne, Australia and a licensed Q-Grader, owner Fumi specializes in roasting exotic coffees in small-batches to achieve a focused taste profile. We have personally visited their shop and was mind-blown by the unique tasting experiences their coffee lineup offers.
