Founded in 2007 by Swedish Barista Champions Anne Lunell and Charles Nystrand, Koppi have become one of the world leaders in roasting outstanding coffees and shaping direct trade practices since the early days of third-wave coffee.

With a mission “to work with skilled and dedicated coffee producers around the world”, though Koppi initially started as a coffee bar with an in-store roaster, it has since evolved to focus solely on roasting after establishing their new headquarter in a revived old industrial building in 2016.

Nowadays, Charles focuses on roasting, while Anne travels the world establishing and strengthening long-term relationships with selected coffee producers, and focusing on collaboratively increasing values for the producers’ work from the farm level.

Koppi’s reputation for quality both in sourcing and roasting have earned them popularity around the world. We love Koppi for their frequent rotating selection of different flavor profiles, while keeping an extremely consistent roast quality that makes the coffee always easy to brew and enjoy.
